A few weeks back I was privileged to see the beautiful love of Rachael and Adam and their families.  The wedding day was just right.  This couple could not have been more at peace in each other’s presence. The balanced each other out perfectly, and their hearts were unswervingly focused on the most important part of their wedding day. Their love, their family, and their friends. No amount of astonishingly beautiful details, nor picturesque scenery could distract them from the celebration of their union and love.  The occasion was set at Temple Israel, and they partied the night only a few blocks away at Semple Mansion.

As a photographer, I get to see it all, and their wedding was filled with wonderful surprises. Especially for them. but also for me.  I caught one of my favorite wedding frames ever (I’ll let you guess!), ate some great grub, and I got to photograph the wedding with my cousin Elliot. He is such a good, down to earth guy and I hope to shoot with him a lot more.  Not to mention, he is a phenomenal photojournalist who is making waves at his soon to be alma mater in Burlington, Vermont.

Rachael and Adam, thanks for keeping it real. Elliot, you rock.

Much love,

tom

I’m going to guess… if it’s not the shot you used for the banner… the daddy-daughter dance!

    Tom,

You’re great, cuz. You have an eye for wedding photography that I’ll never have. Still can’t get over that reflection shot from the barber shop — what a catch. Thanks so much for shooting it with me; I definitely couldn’t have done it without you.

    Hopefully I’ll see you soon.
